MontegoNet Completes Acquisition of CartenTech

Portsmouth, RI - January 26, 2004 - Ringing in the new year, MontegoNet is pleased to announce that it has completed its acquisition of CartenTech, a Rhode Island-based developer of self service internet webphones and kiosk software. Under the terms of the deal, MontegoNet will assume all CartenTech assets and retain CartenTech staff.

The deal comes at a time of growth and accelerated research & development at MontegoNet. "We've been in 'stealth mode' for the past year, developing new products and services that will help our customers generate true ROI for their self service deployments," said MontegoNet President Thomas Smith.
