Prerequisites
Students require working knowledge (personal administration) of Windows98, NT,
or 2000. Students must also provide their own laptops with at least 200MB of
free space, for installation of the software for use in the
Laboratory exercises. It is in the interest of the student to ensure that it is
fully backed up prior to use in the class
You will also find it useful to have some form of graphics package installed,
such as MSPaint, PaintShopPro, Corel etc.
Students who wish to participate in the (optional) programming exercises will
require a programming environment (e.g. Visual Basic) installed on their laptop
prior to their attendance.
